Radiography has been far more than a profession for me—it has been a lifelong journey of learning, innovation and sharing knowledge.

My career began in hospital radiography, where I developed a strong foundation in diagnostic imaging and patient-centred care. As medical imaging evolved, so did my professional interests, leading me into advanced Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), healthcare technology, imaging research, clinical education and global product development.

Over the years I have had the privilege of working across hospitals, healthcare technology organisations and international projects, collaborating with radiographers, radiologists, physicists, software engineers and researchers. These experiences have allowed me to appreciate medical imaging from multiple perspectives—not only as a clinician, but also as an educator, researcher and contributor to healthcare innovation.

Today I work as an NHS Diagnostic Radiographer in the United Kingdom, specialising in CT and MRI. Alongside my clinical role, education has remained a constant passion. Throughout my career I have delivered clinical training, developed educational programmes, mentored colleagues, supported students and contributed to professional development initiatives across a variety of healthcare settings.

A significant chapter of my career involved working with leading global healthcare organisations, including GE Healthcare and Philips Healthcare. My responsibilities included clinical applications, imaging research, product development, clinical validation and CT application innovation. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams provided valuable insight into how new imaging technologies are conceived, developed, validated and introduced into clinical practice. These experiences continue to influence my approach to education by helping learners understand not only how imaging systems work, but why they continue to evolve.

The inspiration for Global Radiographers came from a recurring observation throughout my career. Students and practising radiographers often searched across multiple websites, textbooks and guidelines to find reliable answers to everyday clinical questions. Although excellent resources exist, practical knowledge is frequently scattered across many sources.

Global Radiographers was created to bridge that gap.

The platform brings together structured educational content covering radiography fundamentals, CT, MRI, radiation protection, anatomy, pathology, imaging protocols, professional development, international registration pathways and emerging imaging technologies. Particular emphasis has been placed on CT because of my specialist clinical and professional background, while the long-term vision is to expand into every major area of diagnostic imaging.

Every article published on this platform is developed with one purpose: to make complex imaging concepts easier to understand and directly applicable to clinical practice. The educational content is built upon professional experience, current evidence, recognised guidelines and continuous learning, with modern digital technologies used responsibly to support content development and organisation.

I firmly believe that education should never stop at graduation. The future of radiography will be shaped by advances such as artificial intelligence, photon-counting CT, spectral imaging, precision medicine and digital healthcare. Preparing radiographers for that future requires more than technical knowledge—it requires curiosity, critical thinking, adaptability and a commitment to lifelong learning.
